3. Setup and Installation

3.1. Wall Installation

For wall mounting, ensure the surface is stable and can support the camera's weight. Use the provided mounting template to mark drill holes accurately.

3.2. Ceiling Installation

For ceiling mounting, follow similar steps as wall installation, ensuring the camera is securely fastened to prevent accidental falls.

4. Operating Instructions

Once installed, you can access and manage your camera through a PC or a mobile application.

4.1. Accessing Camera via PC

To view your camera feed and configure settings on a PC, you can use the SearchTool, a web browser, or the LMS Client software.

  1. Download Software: Visit the official Anpviz Security website (www.anpvizsecurity.com) to download the latest SearchTool and LMS Client software for your operating system.
  2. Search Camera IP Address: Use the SearchTool to discover your camera's IP address on your network.
  3. Web Browser Access: Open a web browser (e.g., Edge, Firefox, Google Chrome) and enter the camera's IP address to log in. The default username is 'admin' and the default password is '123456'.
  4. LMS Client Access: Open the LMS Client software, log in with the default credentials, and add your camera device to view the live feed.

4.2. Accessing Camera via Mobile App (Danale App)

For convenient remote viewing, download and configure the Danale app on your smartphone.

  1. Download Danale App: Search for "Danale" in your device's app store (App Store for iOS, Google Play for Android) and install it.
  2. Sign Up/Log In: Create a new account or log in to your existing Danale account.
  3. Add Equipment: Follow the in-app instructions to add your camera. This typically involves scanning the QR code found on the camera's network P2P page (accessible via web browser).
  4. Live View: Once added, you can view the live feed from your camera.

If you forget your camera's password, you can reset it using the SearchTool software on your PC. Ensure your camera is connected to the same network as your PC.

  2. Search for Camera: The tool will automatically scan and list all Anpviz cameras on your network.
  3. Select Camera: Select the specific camera you wish to reset.
  4. Initiate Reset: Click the "Batch Reset" button (or similar, depending on software version) and confirm the factory reset. This will restore the camera to its default settings, including the default password ('123456').
