Setup

  1. Placement: Place the turntable on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive vibration.
  2. Install Platter and Belt:
    • Carefully place the aluminum platter onto the turntable spindle.
    • Locate the drive belt, which is usually pre-installed on the underside of the platter or included separately.
    • Align the belt with the motor pulley, which is typically a small brass or plastic cylinder located near the spindle. Use the red tab to pull the belt over the motor pulley. Ensure the belt is not twisted.
    • Place the felt mat on top of the platter.
  3. Install Dust Cover: Insert the hinges of the dust cover into the hinge holders at the rear of the turntable unit.
  4. Connect to Power: Connect the AC adapter to the turntable's power input and then plug it into a wall outlet.
  5. Audio Connection:
    • Wired Connection: Connect the included dual RCA output cable from the turntable's output jacks to the audio input of your amplifier, powered speakers, or stereo system. Ensure the PHONO/LINE switch on the rear of the turntable is set correctly (PHONO for phono input, LINE for line input).
    • Wireless Connection (Bluetooth): Proceed to the Bluetooth Connectivity section for pairing instructions.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Press the power button on the front panel to turn on the turntable. The Bluetooth indicator will illuminate.
  2. Select Speed: Press the 'SPEED' button to select the appropriate playback speed for your record (33-1/3 RPM or 45 RPM).
  3. Place Record: Place a record on the platter. If playing a 45 RPM single, use the included 45 RPM adapter.
  4. Start Playback: Press the 'START' button. The tonearm will automatically move to the beginning of the record and begin playback.
  5. Stop Playback: Press the 'STOP' button. The tonearm will automatically lift, return to its rest, and the platter will stop spinning.
  6. Manual Tonearm Lift: Use the 'TONEARM LIFT' button to manually raise or lower the tonearm during playback if needed.

Bluetooth Connectivity

The AT-LP60XBT-WH turntable can connect wirelessly to Bluetooth-enabled speakers, headphones, or other audio devices.

  1. Enable Bluetooth on your device: Ensure your Bluetooth speaker or headphones are in pairing mode. Refer to your device's manual for specific instructions.
  2. Initiate Turntable Pairing: With the turntable powered on, press and hold the Bluetooth button (usually indicated by a Bluetooth symbol) on the turntable's front panel for a few seconds until the Bluetooth indicator light begins to flash rapidly. This indicates the turntable is in pairing mode.
  3. Connect: Once the turntable and your Bluetooth device are successfully paired, the Bluetooth indicator light on the turntable will change from rapidly flashing to a steady blue light.
  4. aptX Codec: This turntable supports the aptX codec, which provides higher quality audio streaming over Bluetooth with compatible devices.

Maintenance

  • Dust Cover: Keep the dust cover closed when not in use to protect the turntable from dust and debris. Clean the dust cover with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
  • Stylus Care: Gently clean the stylus regularly using a soft brush designed for stylus cleaning, brushing from back to front. A dirty stylus can degrade sound quality and damage records.
  • Stylus Replacement: The stylus is replaceable. Refer to the Audio-Technica website or your local dealer for compatible replacement styli.
  • Turntable Body: Wipe the turntable body with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.

Troubleshooting
