3. Setup and Assembly

2. Wall Panel Installation: Attach the wall panels to the base frame. Start with the corner panels and work your way around. Ensure panels are correctly aligned before tightening fasteners.

3. Door Frame and Door Installation: Install the door frame and then the double sliding doors. Ensure the doors slide smoothly and align correctly.

4. Roof Assembly: Assemble the roof panels and attach them to the wall structure. This step often requires careful alignment and securing of multiple panels. Pay close attention to the roof ridge and eaves.

4. Operating Instructions

The vidaXL garden shed is designed for straightforward operation.

4.1. Door Operation

The shed features double sliding doors. To open, grasp the handles and slide the doors along their tracks. Ensure the tracks are clear of debris for smooth operation. To close, slide the doors back until they meet. A padlock (not included) can be used for security.

4.2. Ventilation

The shed is equipped with ventilation grilles at the front and rear to promote air circulation and reduce condensation. Ensure these grilles remain unobstructed.

• Cleaning: Clean the exterior of the shed periodically with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the powder coating.
• Inspection: Annually inspect all fasteners, bolts, and connections to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary. Check for any signs of rust, especially at joints or areas where the coating might be scratched.
• Door Tracks: Keep the door tracks clean and free of dirt, leaves, or other debris to ensure smooth operation of the sliding doors. Lubricate tracks with a silicone spray if needed.
• Rust Prevention: Although made of galvanized steel, minor scratches or prolonged exposure to moisture can lead to rust. Touch up any deep scratches with rust-inhibiting paint.
• Snow Load: In areas with heavy snowfall, regularly clear snow from the roof to prevent excessive weight accumulation, which could damage the structure.
