Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your popcorn machine.
- Disconnect Power: Always unplug the machine from the power outlet before cleaning. Allow all parts to cool completely.
- Kettle Cleaning: The kettle is removable for easy cleaning. Carefully detach it and wash with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reattaching.
- Interior and Exterior: Wipe down the tempered safety glass walls and stainless steel food zones with a damp cloth. For stubborn residue, use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive pads that could scratch surfaces.
- Kernel Tray: Slide out the reject kernel tray from the bottom of the machine and empty any un-popped kernels. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
- Storage: Store the machine in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Troubleshooting
- Popcorn not popping or burning: Ensure the kettle is preheated sufficiently (3-4 minutes). Use fresh popcorn kernels and the correct amount of oil. Do not overload the kettle.
- Machine not turning on: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a grounded outlet. Verify that the power switches (WARM, KETTLE) are in the 'ON' position.
- Excessive un-popped kernels: Ensure the kettle is hot enough. Use high-quality popcorn kernels. The kernel tray is designed to collect un-popped kernels, which is normal for any popcorn machine.
- Difficulty cleaning: For dried oil or popcorn residue, allow the kettle to soak in warm, soapy water. For glass panels, a mixture of vinegar and water can help remove film.
