Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of the pipe support:
- Select Mounting Location: Choose a suitable location on a wall or ceiling that can support the weight of the pipe and its contents. Ensure the surface is solid and free from electrical wires or plumbing.
- Mark Drill Points: Place the base plate of the pipe support against the desired mounting surface. Use a pencil to mark the positions for the three screw holes.
- Drill Pilot Holes: Using an appropriate drill bit for your wall anchors (typically 6mm or 1/4 inch for standard anchors), drill pilot holes at the marked locations.
- Insert Wall Anchors: Gently tap the plastic wall anchors into the drilled holes until they are flush with the surface.
- Mount the Base Plate: Align the base plate with the inserted anchors. Secure the base plate to the wall or ceiling using the provided stainless steel screws. Tighten firmly but do not overtighten.
- Attach Pipe Clamp: Assemble the pipe clamp portion to the adjustable post. The clamp consists of two halves and two hex head bolts with red plastic washers.
- Adjust Height: The support post features a threaded rod for height adjustment. Rotate the upper part of the support to achieve the desired height (adjustable range 50mm to 100mm).
- Secure Pipe: Place the pipe into the clamp. Ensure the pipe fits snugly within the 32mm-34mm diameter range. Tighten the hex head bolts on the clamp to secure the pipe. The red plastic washers help prevent direct metal-on-metal contact and provide a secure grip.

Operating (Usage)
Once installed, the Homend pipe support provides a stable and adjustable mounting point for your pipes. Ensure that the pipe is correctly seated within the clamp and that the clamp bolts are tightened sufficiently to prevent movement, but not so tightly as to damage the pipe. Periodically check the tightness of all fasteners, especially after initial installation and during periods of temperature fluctuation.
Maintenance
- Regular Inspection: Periodically inspect the pipe supports for any signs of wear, corrosion, or loosening of fasteners.
- Cleaning: Clean the stainless steel surface with a soft cloth and mild detergent if necessary. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
- Tightness Check: Re-tighten screws and bolts as needed to maintain secure pipe fixation.
- Corrosion Resistance: The 304 stainless steel construction provides excellent resistance to rust. However, in highly corrosive environments, additional protective measures may be considered.
Troubleshooting
- Pipe is Loose in Clamp:
Ensure the pipe diameter is within the specified range (32mm-34mm). Tighten the clamp bolts firmly. If the pipe is slightly smaller, consider using a rubber shim (not included) for a tighter fit.
- Difficulty Adjusting Height:
Check for debris or cross-threading on the adjustable rod. Ensure the rod is clean and lubricated if necessary. Do not force adjustment if resistance is met; disassemble and inspect.
- Support Feels Unstable:
Verify that the base plate screws are securely fastened to a solid mounting surface. Ensure appropriate wall anchors were used for the wall material. Re-check all connections.
- Bolts Jammed:
If bolts jam during tightening, do not force them. This may indicate cross-threading or a defective bolt. Carefully loosen and re-thread. If the issue persists, replace the bolt.
