3. Setup Guide

3.1 Connecting the Microphone

  1. Attach the provided microphone clip to a standard microphone stand.
  2. Securely insert the LCT 040 Match microphone into the microphone clip.
  3. Connect an XLR cable (not included) to the XLR connector at the base of the microphone.
  4. Connect the other end of the XLR cable to an audio interface, mixer, or preamplifier that provides +48V phantom power. The LCT 040 Match requires +48V phantom power for operation.
  5. For outdoor use or to reduce plosives and wind noise, place the included windscreen over the microphone capsule.
