Assembly Instructions

Assembly of the Brightech Artichoke Floor Lamp requires careful attention, particularly for the shade components. It is recommended to assemble the lamp on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.

Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Lay them out and identify each piece.
Assemble the Lamp Pole:
- Attach the bottom pole section to the weighted base by screwing it clockwise until secure.
- Connect the remaining pole sections, screwing them together firmly. Ensure the power cord passes through the pole sections without twisting.
- The top pole section will have the lamp socket attached.
Assemble the Artichoke Shade: This step requires patience. The shade consists of multiple wooden panels that interlock.
- Identify the central rings or supports for the shade.
- Carefully insert the individual wooden panels into the designated slots on the shade frame. The panels are designed to fit snugly. Apply gentle, even pressure to avoid damaging the wood.
- Work systematically, layer by layer, ensuring each panel is fully seated. Some force and wiggling may be required to interlock the pieces completely.
- Once all panels are assembled, the shade should form a stable, artichoke-like structure.

Attach the Shade to the Lamp Pole: Carefully place the assembled shade onto the lamp socket assembly at the top of the pole. Secure it according to the specific design (e.g., with a retaining ring or by screwing it onto the socket).

Turning On/Off: Use the integrated pedal switch on the power cord to turn the lamp on or off. Press the pedal once to turn it on, and press it again to turn it off.
Smart Home Compatibility: This lamp can be integrated with smart home systems (e.g., Amazon Alexa, Google Home Assistant, Apple HomeKit) by connecting it to a compatible smart outlet (sold separately). Follow the instructions provided with your smart outlet for setup. Note that the included bulb is not dimmable, but it can be replaced with a dimmable smart bulb if desired.
