The Pioneer AVH-2550NEX is a 6.8-inch capacitive touchscreen multimedia DVD receiver designed to enhance your in-car audio and entertainment experience. Mounting Considerations

The AVH-2550NEX is a double-DIN unit, meaning it requires a mounting space approximately 4 inches tall and 7 inches wide. Confirm your vehicle's dashboard opening size before installation. Proper mounting ensures secure fit and optimal performance.
Wiring Connections

Connect the included wiring harness to the vehicle's electrical system according to the vehicle's wiring diagram. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent electrical issues. The unit provides multiple input/output options for system flexibility, including RCA outputs for external amplifiers, a dedicated backup camera input, and a USB port for media and smartphone connectivity.
Important: The backup camera input features automatic switching when the vehicle is placed in reverse. Rear visibility systems (backup cameras) are required under federal regulations in certain new vehicles according to a phase-in schedule that began on May 1, 2016. Owners of vehicles equipped with compliant rear visibility systems should not install or use this product in a way that alters or disables that system's compliance with applicable regulations. If you are unsure whether your vehicle has a rear visibility system subject to these regulations, please contact the vehicle manufacturer or dealer.
Operating Instructions
Basic Operation
The AVH-2550NEX features a 6.8-inch WVGA display and intuitive controls. The main interface allows access to various functions such as HD Radio, Bluetooth Audio, Pandora, Spotify, iPod, and AUX inputs.

Smartphone Integration (Apple CarPlay & Android Auto)
Connect your compatible iOS or Android device via USB to enable Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. This allows seamless access to navigation, music, messages, and other supported applications directly from the receiver's display.

Note: Android Auto requires the Android Auto app on Google Play and an Android compatible smartphone running Android 5.0 ("Lollipop") or higher. Standard text messaging rates apply. Apple CarPlay requires iPhone 5 or newer with the latest version of iOS. Either "Made for iPod" or "Made for iPhone" means that an electronic accessory has been designed to connect specifically to iPod or iPhone and has been certified by the developer to meet Apple performance standards. Apple is not responsible for the operation of this device or its compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Operations and functions may vary depending on iOS device or receivers.
Bluetooth Connectivity
The built-in Bluetooth functionality enables hands-free calling and wireless audio streaming. Pair your smartphone with the receiver to make and receive calls, and stream music directly to your car's speakers.

Bluetooth functionality features may not be supported by all compatible Bluetooth-enabled devices, and/or the functionality of such features may be limited in certain devices or by certain wireless carriers.
Media Playback
Enjoy various media formats including DVD, CD, HD Radio, and streaming services like Pandora and Spotify. The unit supports MPEG-1/2/4, H.264, AVI/DivX, and MP3 formats.

Audio Customization
The 13-band graphic equalizer allows for precise audio tuning to match your vehicle's acoustics and personal preferences. Adjust frequency bands to enhance bass, treble, or vocal clarity.

The unit also features built-in high/low pass crossovers with adjustable points and slopes, providing further control over sound output.
Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Pioneer AVH-2550NEX, follow these maintenance guidelines:
