Product Overview
This manual provides instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the weelye RX18 12V 2.4G Bluetooth Remote Control and Receiver Kit. This kit is designed as a replacement part for children's electric ride-on cars, enabling remote control functionality.
Setup and Installation
Receiver Unit Installation
Ensure that the purchased RX18 12V receiver unit has the same appearance and model number as your original part. The receiver features a 7-pin single-sided socket for connection.

Remote Control Battery Installation
The remote control requires two (2) AAA 1.5V batteries. Follow these steps to install them:
- Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the screw on the back of the remote control.
- Remove the battery cover.
- Insert two AAA 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Replace the battery cover and secure it with the screw.
Important: Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries. Exhausted batteries should be removed from the remote control promptly.

Operating Instructions
Frequency Binding (Pairing)
For first-time use or after replacing batteries, the remote control must be paired with the receiver unit. Follow these steps:
- Ensure batteries are installed in the remote control.
- Press and hold the frequency key (often labeled 'S' or a dedicated pairing button) on the remote control for 2-4 seconds. The low speed LED lights on the remote will flash.
- While the remote's LED lights are flashing, turn on the power of the ride-on car.
- The low speed LED lights on the remote will change from flashing to a steady light, indicating successful frequency binding.
If the frequency binding fails (LED lights continue to flash), remove the batteries from the remote control and repeat steps 1-3.
The remote control will enter power-saving mode, and its indication light will turn off if there is no operation for 10 seconds.

Button Functions
- △ (Up Arrow): Forward movement
- ▽ (Down Arrow): Backward movement
- < (Left Arrow): Turn left
- > (Right Arrow): Turn right
- S: Speed selection (typically cycles through low, medium, high speeds)
- P: Emergency Brake. Pressing this button will stop the car's movement. Press it again to release the brake and resume normal operation.
Maintenance
- Remove exhausted batteries from the remote control promptly to prevent leakage and damage.
- Keep the remote control and receiver unit away from naked flames or direct heat sources.
- This product is for external use only.
Troubleshooting
- Remote control not responding: Ensure batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Attempt frequency binding again as described in the 'Operating Instructions' section.
- Car not moving or other functions not working: Before assuming an issue with the remote or receiver, check if other functions of your ride-on car are working properly, such as motors and the main battery.
- Frequency binding failed (LEDs flashing): Remove the batteries from the remote control and repeat the frequency binding steps (1-3) carefully.
