Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your CLICIC 2 Gallon Portable Pump Pressure Sprayer. Please read these instructions thoroughly before assembly, operation, or maintenance. Keep this manual for future reference.
Safety Information
WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in injury or property damage.
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and eye protection when operating the sprayer.
- Do not use the sprayer with caustic, acidic, flammable, or corrosive solutions. Only use water-based or liquid soluble products as recommended by the solution manufacturer.
- Avoid overwinding the pump. Excessive pressure can damage the sprayer or cause it to burst.
- Be cautious when spraying at heights or in enclosed spaces to prevent accidental exposure to sprayed materials.
- Never point the nozzle at people, pets, or electrical outlets.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Store the sprayer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures.
- Always release pressure from the tank before opening or storing.

Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your sprayer before first use:
- Install the Spray Rod: Connect the spray rod to the trigger handle. Ensure it is securely tightened.
- Connect Hose: Attach the hose to the sprayer tank and the trigger handle.
- Attach Shoulder Strap: Securely fasten the shoulder strap to the designated attachment points on the sprayer tank.
- Initial Inspection: Before filling, inspect all connections for tightness to prevent leaks.

Operating Instructions
1. Filling the Tank
- Ensure the sprayer is on a stable, level surface.
- Unscrew the pump rod counterclockwise and remove the pump assembly from the tank.
- Carefully pour the desired liquid into the tank. Do not overfill beyond the maximum fill line (if present) or the tank's capacity (2 gallons).
- Reinsert the pump assembly and tighten the pump rod clockwise until secure.

2. Building Pressure
With the pump assembly securely tightened, pump the handle up and down repeatedly to build pressure inside the tank. You will feel resistance as pressure increases. Stop pumping when sufficient pressure is achieved or if you feel significant resistance.
3. Adjusting the Nozzle
The spray wand features an adjustable nozzle to control the spray pattern:
- For a fine mist or shower spray: Tighten the nozzle.
- For a direct stream or water column spray: Loosen the nozzle.

4. Spraying
Once pressure is built and the nozzle is adjusted, press the trigger on the spray wand to begin spraying. For continuous spraying without holding the trigger, push the trigger lock forward.

5. Releasing Pressure
After use, or before opening the tank, it is crucial to release any remaining pressure. Lift the pressure relief valve located on the pump assembly to vent excess air. This prevents accidental discharge and extends the life of the sprayer.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your sprayer.
- Cleaning: After each use, especially when using chemicals, thoroughly rinse the tank, hose, and spray wand with clean water. Pump clean water through the nozzle to clear any residue.
- Storage: Store the sprayer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures. Ensure all pressure is released before storage.
- Inspection: Periodically check all seals, O-rings, and connections for wear or damage. Replace any worn parts to maintain an airtight seal.
- Lubrication: Lightly lubricate the pump shaft O-ring with silicone grease if pumping becomes difficult.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No spray or weak spray | Insufficient pressure Clogged nozzle Loose connections | Pump more to build pressure Clean the nozzle Tighten all connections |
| Leaking from connections | Loose connections Damaged O-rings/seals | Tighten connections Inspect and replace O-rings/seals |
| Pump handle difficult to operate | Dry O-ring on pump shaft Excessive pressure | Lubricate O-ring with silicone grease Release some pressure using the relief valve |
