Safety Information

Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the safe from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
  2. Battery Installation: The digital lock requires batteries (typically AA, not included). Locate the battery compartment, usually on the inside of the safe door or behind the keypad. Insert batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Initial Code Setting: Refer to the specific instructions provided with your safe for setting the initial digital code. This usually involves pressing a reset button inside the door and entering a new code. Test the new code with the door open before closing.
  4. Anchoring (Optional but Recommended): The Valberg FRS-32 EL safe is designed with pre-drilled holes for anchoring to the floor. This significantly enhances security against theft. Use appropriate hardware (not included) for your floor type. Ensure the safe is level before marking and drilling anchor points.
