Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your grinder, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Grinder does not start:
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet.
- Check that the bean hopper and ground coffee container are correctly assembled and seated.
- Verify that the Start/Stop button has been pressed firmly.
- Inconsistent grind:
- Clean the burrs and grinding chamber thoroughly, as old coffee grounds or oils can affect consistency.
- Ensure the burrs are correctly installed and not worn.
- Grinder clogs or stops during operation:
- This can happen with very oily beans or if the grind setting is too fine for the bean type. Try a slightly coarser setting.
- Clean the grinding mechanism to remove any blockages.
- Do not overfill the bean hopper.
- Excessive noise:
- Ensure there are no foreign objects in the bean hopper.
- Check that all parts are correctly assembled.
