1. Product Overview
The LoraTap WiFi Smart Curtain Switch is designed to control electric curtains, roller shutters, and projection screens. It offers multiple control options including touch, smartphone app, voice commands via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and programmable scheduling.

2. Setup and Installation
2.1 Wiring Instructions
Before installation, ensure the main power supply is turned off. This switch requires a neutral wire for operation. It is compatible with 4-wire AC motors only. Do not connect to DC motors.
- Connect the 'L' wire to the Live power supply.
- Connect the 'N' wire to the Neutral power supply.
- Connect 'L1' and 'L2' wires to the motor for opening and closing functions, respectively.

2.2 App Installation and Pairing
Download the free "Smart Life" application on your mobile phone (available for Android and iOS). Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz, as the switch only supports this frequency. Follow the in-app instructions to pair the switch with your smartphone. If you experience pairing difficulties, try restarting your router simultaneously with the pairing process.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Manual Touch Control
The switch features a touch panel for direct control. The button lights will illuminate only when their corresponding function is active, ensuring they do not cause disturbance at night.
3.2 App Control and Scheduling
Using the "Smart Life" app, you can remotely control your curtains from anywhere. The app allows you to open, close, or partially open/close curtains. You can also program schedules to automate curtain movements, such as opening them automatically in the morning.

3.3 Voice Control with Alexa and Google Assistant
The LoraTap curtain switch is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. To use voice commands like "open the curtains" or "close the curtains" instead of "turn on/off the curtains," you need to create a scene in the Smart Life app (e.g., "open the curtains") and then activate this scene in the Alexa or Google Home app by creating a routine.
3.4 Group Control
Multiple switches can be controlled by a single phone, and conversely, multiple phones can control one switch. Up to 20 switches can be added to a group, allowing you to control all curtains in a room simultaneously with a single command.

3.5 Variable Use
The switch can be used with various motorized window coverings and projection screens.

4. Maintenance
The switch features a 4mm tempered glass panel, ensuring safe operation even with wet hands. To clean the panel, use a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surface.

5. Troubleshooting
- Connectivity Issues: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz. The switch does not support 5 GHz networks. If pairing fails, try restarting your Wi-Fi router and then attempt to pair the device again.
- Voice Control with Alexa/Google Assistant: If voice commands like "open/close curtains" are not working, verify that you have created a scene in the Smart Life app and a corresponding routine in the Alexa or Google Home app as described in section 3.3.
- Motor Compatibility: This switch is designed for 4-wire AC motors only. It is not compatible with DC motors. Ensure your motor type matches the requirements.
- Button Light Behavior: The button lights are designed to illuminate only when their respective function is active. This is normal operation and not an indication of a fault.
