5.2. Connecting to a Smart TV with HDMI ARC

  1. Connect one end of an HDMI cable (not included) to the HDMI ARC port on your Smart TV.
  2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT (ARC) port on the SWM15-PRO mixer.
  3. Connect the mixer's AUDIO OUT port to your soundbar or amplifier's AUX input using the included AUX cable, or use the optical adapter and Mini Toslink to Toslink cable for optical input.
  4. Plug in the power cord to the mixer.
  5. On your TV, enable the CEC function (e.g., Anynet+ for Samsung) and set the audio output format to PCM under expert settings.

The SWM15-PRO supports various soundbars and speakers with Optical or AUX input. The Audio Out port can function as either an AUX or optical output.

  • For AUX Devices: Connect one end of the included AUX cable to the mixer's AUDIO OUT port and the other end to your speaker's AUX input port.
  • For Optical Devices: Connect the included optical adapter to the mixer's AUDIO OUT port, then use the Mini Toslink to Toslink cable to connect to your optical input device. Change the input channel on your optical device to OPTICAL.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Powering On/Off

  1. Ensure all connections are secure.
  2. Plug the power adapter into the mixer's DC 5V port and then into a power outlet. The power indicator light on the mixer will illuminate.
  3. To power on the wireless microphones, press and hold the power button on each microphone until its display lights up. The mixer's power indicator light will change from red to blue/purple when the microphones are successfully connected.

6.2. Adjusting Audio Levels

Use the knobs on the mixer's front panel to adjust audio settings:

  • MUSIC: Controls the overall music volume.
  • W/MIC A & W/MIC B: Adjusts the individual volume levels for wireless microphone A and B.
  • ECHO: Controls the echo effect applied to the microphone audio.
  • TONE: Adjusts the tonal quality of the microphone audio.

For optimal sound, start with the 'MUSIC' volume knob at a low to mid-level (20%-30%) and adjust the 'W/MIC' volume knobs to a mid-to-max range. Then fine-tune the Echo and Tone to your preference.
