Troubleshooting

Cable Not Advancing/Retracting Automatically

If the cable does not advance or retract automatically, ensure the forward/reverse switch is correctly engaged. If the issue persists, manually assist the cable. This can sometimes occur if the internal mechanism encounters resistance or if the cable is bent.

Dealing with Stubborn Clogs

For very stubborn clogs, repeatedly move the cable forward and backward to break up or pull out the obstruction. The auger is not designed for solid blockages like tree roots or rocks.
