3. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the humidifier and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Placement: Place the device on a stable, level surface. Ensure it is not near any heat sources or direct sunlight.
3. Connect Power: Locate the power input on the bottom of the device and connect the provided power adapter.
4. Remove Cover: Gently lift the top cover of the diffuser to access the water tank.
5. Fill Water Tank: Using a measuring cup, fill the water tank with clean tap water up to the 300 ml maximum fill line. Do not overfill.

6. Add Essential Oils (Optional): If using for aromatherapy, add 10-15 drops of your preferred essential oil directly into the water tank. Adjust the quantity based on desired intensity.

7. Replace Cover: Carefully place the top cover back onto the base unit, ensuring it is properly aligned.

4. Operating Instructions

The Cecotec Pure Aroma 300 Yang features intuitive controls for mist and light functions.

Mist Control:

• Power On/Off: Press the 'Mist' button once to turn on the continuous mist. Press again to turn off.
• Timer Settings: While the mist is on, press the 'Mist' button repeatedly to cycle through timer options: 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours, or continuous operation (ON). The device will automatically shut off when the selected time expires or when the water level is low.

LED Light Control:

• Turn On/Off: Press the 'Light' button once to turn on the LED light. Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn off.
• Color Selection: When the light is on, press the 'Light' button repeatedly to cycle through the 7 available colors. You can choose a fixed color or allow it to cycle automatically.

5. Maintenance and Care

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your humidifier and diffuser.

1. Unplug: Always unplug the device from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Empty Water: Remove the top cover and carefully empty any remaining water from the tank.
3. Clean Tank: Wipe the inside of the water tank with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn residue, use a small amount of mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
4. Clean Ultrasonic Plate: Gently wipe the ultrasonic vibrating plate (located at the bottom of the water tank) with a cotton swab dipped in white vinegar. Do not scratch or apply excessive pressure.
5. Dry: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling or storing the device.
6. Frequency: Clean the device at least once a week, or more frequently if used daily or with strong essential oils.
