5. Installation Instructions
Important: Ensure power is disconnected at the main circuit breaker before beginning installation. If you are unsure about electrical installations, consult a qualified electrician.
- Prepare the Mounting Location: Choose a suitable wall location for the fixture. Ensure the surface is flat and can support the weight of the light. Consider the motion sensor's detection range (5 meters, 90° angle) when positioning.
- Mark Drilling Points: Hold the mounting bracket against the wall at the desired installation height. Use a pencil to mark the drilling points.
- Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked points using an appropriate drill bit for your wall material. Insert the provided wall plugs.
- Secure Mounting Bracket: Attach the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly secured.
- Electrical Connection: Carefully connect the electrical wires from your mains supply to the terminal block on the fixture. Ensure correct polarity (Live, Neutral, Earth). All connections must be secure.
- Install GU10 Bulbs: Insert the two GU10 LED bulbs into their respective sockets by pushing and twisting them clockwise until they are secure.
- Attach Fixture to Bracket: Carefully align the light fixture with the mounting bracket and secure it using the provided screws. Ensure a tight seal to maintain the IP44 rating.
- Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the main circuit breaker.

6. Operating Instructions
The HiBay Outdoor LED Wall Light features an integrated PIR (Passive Infrared) motion sensor for automatic operation.
- Automatic Activation: The light will automatically turn on when motion is detected within its 5-meter range and 90° detection angle, provided the ambient light level is below a certain threshold (dusk/darkness).
- Light Duration: Once activated, the light will remain on for approximately 60 seconds. If motion is continuously detected, the light will stay on until motion ceases, then turn off after the 60-second delay.
- Fixed Settings: The motion sensor's sensitivity, detection range, and light duration are fixed and cannot be adjusted by the user.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: To clean the fixture, ensure power is disconnected. Wipe the stainless steel surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
- Bulb Replacement:
- Disconnect power at the main circuit breaker.
- Carefully remove the old GU10 bulb by pushing it in and twisting counter-clockwise.
- Insert a new GU10 LED bulb (max 7W) by pushing it in and twisting clockwise until secure.
- Restore power.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the fixture for any signs of damage, loose connections, or wear. If any issues are found, disconnect power and consult a qualified electrician.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Light does not turn on. | No power supply. Faulty bulb. Sensor not detecting motion or too much ambient light. | Check circuit breaker. Replace bulb. Ensure it's dark enough for sensor activation. Test sensor by walking in front of it. |
| Light stays on continuously. | Constant motion in detection zone. Sensor malfunction. | Ensure no objects or activities are constantly triggering the sensor. If problem persists, contact support. |
| Light flashes or flickers. | Loose connection. Faulty bulb. | Disconnect power and check all electrical connections. Replace bulb. |
| Motion sensor not working. | Sensor obstructed. Too much ambient light. Sensor malfunction. | Clear any obstructions from the sensor's view. Ensure it's dark enough for activation. If problem persists, contact support. |
