Setup and Charging

Charging the Trimmer

1. Ensure the trimmer is switched off.
2. Connect the SmartPlug charger to the trimmer's charging socket.
3. Plug the charger into an electrical outlet.
4. The charging indicator light will illuminate. A full charge typically takes approximately 1 hour, providing up to 40 minutes of cordless trimming.
5. Once fully charged, disconnect the charger. The trimmer cannot be used while charging.

Attaching and Detaching Comb Attachments

• To attach a comb: Align the comb with the trimmer head and push it on until it clicks into place.
• To detach a comb: Gently pull the comb upwards and away from the trimmer head.
• Ensure the trimmer is switched off before changing attachments.

Operating Instructions

Before use, ensure your trimmer is charged and clean. Always start with a longer comb setting if you are unsure of the desired length.

Beard Trimming

Use the precision trimmer head with the fixed combs (1 mm, 2 mm) for short beards or the sliding combs (3-11 mm, 13-21 mm) for medium to long beards.

1. Select the appropriate comb attachment for your desired beard length.
2. Switch on the trimmer.
3. Trim against the direction of hair growth, ensuring the flat part of the comb rests against your skin.
4. For defining edges, remove the comb and use the precision trimmer head directly.

Hair Clipping

The sliding combs (3-11 mm, 13-21 mm) can also be used for hair clipping.

1. Attach the desired sliding comb for hair length.
2. Switch on the trimmer.
3. Move the trimmer slowly against the direction of hair growth, ensuring the comb remains flat against the scalp.
4. For an even cut, pass over the same area multiple times.

Ear & Nose Trimming

Use the dedicated ear & nose trimmer head for safe and comfortable removal of unwanted hair.

1. Ensure the trimmer is switched off.
2. Remove the precision trimmer head and attach the ear & nose trimmer head.
3. Switch on the trimmer.
4. Carefully insert the trimmer tip into your nostril or ear canal. Do not insert too deeply.
5. Move the trimmer in a circular motion to cut hairs.
6. Clean the head after each use.

Contour Edging

For precise lines and edges, use the precision trimmer head without any comb attachment.

1. Remove any comb attachment from the precision trimmer head.
2. Switch on the trimmer.
3. Hold the trimmer perpendicular to the skin and gently guide it along the desired line.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Cleaning the Trimmer Head and Combs

1. Switch off the trimmer and disconnect it from the power outlet.
