  3. Press the Jaw Trigger to open the clamp jaws.
  4. Enclose only one conductor within the clamp jaws. Ensure the jaws are fully closed.
  5. Read the current value on the LCD display.

4.3 AC/DC Voltage Measurement

Use the test leads for voltage measurement.

  1. Insert the black test lead into the COM terminal and the red test lead into the VΩCAPHzTEMP terminal.
  2. Rotate the Function Dial to the "V~" (AC Voltage) or "V—" (DC Voltage) position. The meter will automatically select the appropriate range.
  3. Connect the test leads in parallel to the circuit or component under test.
  4. Read the voltage value on the LCD display.

4.4 Resistance Measurement (Ω)

Use the test leads for resistance measurement.

  1. Insert the black test lead into the COM terminal and the red test lead into the VΩCAPHzTEMP terminal.
  2. Rotate the Function Dial to the "Ω" position.
  3. Ensure the circuit or component under test is de-energized before connecting the test leads.
  4. Connect the test leads across the component.
  5. Read the resistance value on the LCD display.

4.5 Capacitance Measurement (CAP)

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Meter does not turn on.Dead or incorrectly installed batteries.Check battery polarity; replace batteries.
"OL" (Overload) displayed.Measurement exceeds the selected range or meter's maximum capacity.Select a higher range (if available) or ensure the measurement is within the meter's specifications.
Inaccurate readings.Poor test lead connection, incorrect function selected, external interference.Ensure leads are firmly connected; select correct function; move away from strong electromagnetic fields.
No continuity beep.Circuit resistance is too high, or function not set to continuity.Check the circuit for breaks; ensure the function dial is on continuity mode.
NCV not detecting voltage.Voltage is too low, or meter is not close enough to the source.Ensure the voltage is within detectable range; move the meter closer to the live conductor.

If the problem persists after trying these solutions, contact VOLTCRAFT customer support or a qualified service technician.
