1. Product Overview

The MOKiN 16-in-1 USB C Docking Station is designed to transform your laptop into a powerful workstation, offering extensive connectivity options. It features multiple ports including 3 HDMI, PD 100W, Gigabit RJ45, USB 3.1/3.0/2.0, SD/TF card slots, and a 3.5mm audio port.

2. Setup Guide

The MOKiN docking station offers a simple plug-and-play connection, turning your Windows system laptop into a mobile workstation. For optimal performance, ensure your laptop has fully functional USB-C ports, Thunderbolt 3/4, or USB4 ports.

2.1 Connecting to Your Laptop

1. Connect the provided USB-C to USB-C cable from the docking station's host port to your laptop's USB-C port.
2. For power delivery, connect a 100W PD charger (not included) to the PD 100W port on the docking station. The power output to your laptop will be limited to 87W for safety.

2.2 External Monitor Setup

The docking station supports triple monitor setups for Windows OS. For macOS systems, only SST mode is supported, meaning external monitors will mirror or extend the same screen.

• Connect your monitors to the HDMI ports on the docking station.
• When using HDMI 1 only, resolutions up to 4K@60Hz are supported.
• When connecting dual monitors, the resolution for both HDMI outputs will be 4K@30Hz (depending on your computer's desktop resolution).

2.3 Additional Connections

• Ethernet: Connect an RJ45 cable to the Gigabit Ethernet port for stable wired internet access up to 1000 Mbps.
• USB Devices: Utilize the 3 USB 3.1 ports (up to 10 Gbps), 2 USB 3.0 ports, and 2 USB 2.0 ports for peripherals like mice, keyboards, printers, and external drives.
• SD/TF Cards: Insert SD or microSD cards into the dedicated slots for data transfer speeds up to 104MB/s.
• Audio: Use the 3.5mm audio/mic 2-in-1 jack for audio playback and voice output.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your MOKiN docking station, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• No Display Output: Ensure all HDMI cables are securely connected. Verify your laptop's display settings and resolution. For macOS, remember that only SST mode is supported.
• Intermittent Connections: Check that the USB-C host cable is firmly connected to both the docking station and your laptop. Ensure the cable is not damaged.
• Slow Data Transfer: Confirm that you are using the correct USB 3.1 ports for high-speed transfers. Older USB 2.0 devices will operate at their respective speeds.
• No Power Delivery: Ensure your PD charger is connected to the correct port and is functioning correctly. The PD charger is not included with the docking station.
• Compatibility Issues: This docking station is compatible with all Thunderbolt 3 devices, and Dell, Lenovo, Microsoft, and other models. Ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode).
