4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the motion sensor alarm unit.
- Open the battery cover.
- Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery cover securely.
4.2 Mounting Options
The alarm unit can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a wall using the provided accessories.
- Adhesive Mounting: Clean the desired surface thoroughly. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive sticker and firmly press the alarm unit onto the surface.
- Screw Mounting: Use the provided screws and wall anchors to secure the mounting bracket to the wall. Then, attach the alarm unit to the bracket. The unit's design allows for swiveling to adjust the detection angle.
4.3 Pairing Remote Control
The remote control is typically pre-paired. If re-pairing is needed or you wish to pair multiple alarms to one remote:
- Long press the pairing button on the alarm unit until the detector light lights up continuously.
- Press any button on your remote control. You will hear two beeps from the alarm unit to indicate successful pairing.
- Short press the pairing button on the alarm unit to exit the pairing mode.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Arming and Disarming
- Arm: Press the 'Arm' button (locked padlock icon) on the remote control to activate the alarm. The unit will indicate it is armed.
- Disarm: Press the 'Disarm' button (unlocked padlock icon) on the remote control to deactivate the alarm.
5.2 Mode Selection
The alarm has two primary modes: Loud Alarm and Chime. Use the mode button on the unit or remote to switch between them.
- Loud Alarm Mode: Activates the 125dB siren upon motion detection. Ideal for security.
