1. Introduction and Overview

The ThermoPro TM02 is a versatile digital timer designed for various timing needs, including cooking, exercise, and classroom activities. 2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

The ThermoPro TM02 requires 2 AAA batteries (included). To install:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the unit.
2. Slide open the battery cover.
3. Insert the 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery cover securely.

2.2 Placement Options

The TM02 offers flexible placement:

• Magnetic Back: Attach the timer to any metal surface, such as a refrigerator or oven door, using its strong built-in magnets.
• Tabletop Stand: Utilize the integrated foldable stand to place the timer on a countertop, desk, or any flat surface for easy viewing.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Timer Mode (Countdown/Count-Up)

The TM02 features two independent timers (Timer 1 and Timer 2) that can operate simultaneously.

1. Select Timer: Press the TIMER 1 or TIMER 2 button to select the desired timer. The selected timer's display will flash.
2. Set Time: Use the HR/+ and MIN/- buttons to set the desired hours and minutes for the countdown. Hold the buttons for faster adjustment.
3. Start/Stop: Press the START/STOP button to begin the countdown. Press it again to pause/resume.
4. Clear: To clear a timer, select it and press the CLEAR button.
5. Count-Up: If a timer is started from 0:00:00, it will function as a count-up timer.

3.2 Calendar/Clock Mode

The TM02 can also display the current time and date.

1. Switch Mode: On the back of the unit, slide the switch from TIMER to CLOCK.
2. Set Clock: In Clock mode, slide the switch to CLOCK SET. Use HR/+ and MIN/- to set the time, month, date, and year.
3. 12/24 Hour Format: Press the START/STOP button in Clock mode to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour formats.

3.3 Adjustable Alarm Volume

The alarm volume can be adjusted to suit your environment.

• On the back of the unit, press the VOLUME button to cycle through High, Medium, Low, and Silent modes.
• The volume indicator on the display will change accordingly.

4. Maintenance

• Clean the unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in water or use abrasive cleaners.
• Remove batteries if the unit is not used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
• Store in a dry place away from extreme temperatures.

5.1 Display Issues

• Blank Display: Check battery installation and ensure batteries are not depleted. Replace if necessary.
• Faint Display: Batteries may be low. Replace them.

5.2 Alarm Not Sounding

• Check the volume setting on the back of the unit. Ensure it is not set to Silent mode.

5.3 Timer Not Functioning Correctly

• Ensure the switch on the back is set to TIMER mode.
• Verify that the time has been set correctly for the desired timer.
