  • Cleaning the Body: Wipe the microscope body and stand with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the device.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the microscope in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep it protected from dust.
  • Cable Care: Avoid bending or kinking the USB cable excessively to prevent internal damage.

Troubleshooting

  • Microscope Not Detected:
    • Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the microscope and the computer.
    • Try a different USB port on your computer.
    • Restart the MicroCapture software or your computer.
    • Verify that the necessary drivers were installed correctly during software setup. Reinstall the software if needed.
  • Unclear or Blurry Image:
    • Adjust the focus wheel on the microscope body.
    • Ensure the object is within the microscope's working distance.
    • Clean the microscope lens with the provided cleaning cloth.
    • Adjust the LED illumination for better contrast.
  • Software Issues:
    • If the MicroCapture software is unresponsive or crashes, close and restart the application.
    • Check for software updates on the Veho support website.
    • Consult the software's built-in help documentation for specific feature usage and advanced troubleshooting.
