4. Setup

4.1 Power Connection

  1. Connect the provided power adapter to the DC input port on the display unit.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The display unit will power on automatically.

4.2 Placement

The display unit can be placed on a desktop or mounted on a wall.

  • Desktop Placement: Use the integrated stand on the back of the unit.
  • Wall Mounting: Utilize the mounting holes on the back of the unit with appropriate screws (not included).

4.3 Screen Protector Removal

A protective film is applied to the display screen. Gently peel off the screen protector before first use for optimal clarity.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Calling with NEXT Button

To call the next number in sequence, press the NEXT button on the wireless call button or the remote control. The system will increment the number and announce it.

5.2 Remote Control Functions

The remote control provides advanced functionalities for managing the calling system.

5.2.1 Pause, Turn On/Off

  • Pause: Press the green power button once to pause the system. The display will show "PAUSE".
  • Turn Off: Press the green power button cumulatively 5 times. The display will show "BYE" and turn off.
  • Turn On: Press the green power button directly. The display will show "HELLO" and turn on.

5.2.2 Return to Zero (Reset)

To reset the current number back to the start number (default 00), press the RESET/ENT button on the remote control three times consecutively. The display will show "RESET" and then return to the start number.

5.2.3 Call Next, Last, or Recall Number

  • Call Next: Press the NEXT button to advance to the next number.
  • Call Last: Press the LAST button to display the previously called number.
  • Recall Current: Press the RECALL button to re-announce the currently displayed number.

5.2.4 Quick Call Specific Number

To call a specific number temporarily, use the number pad on the remote control to enter the desired number (00-99), then press the NEXT button. This will display and announce the entered number.

5.2.5 Adjust Volume

Use the UP and DOWN arrow keys on the remote control to adjust the volume of the announcements. The volume level (0-20) will be displayed temporarily.

5.2.6 Set Start and End Numbers

The system allows customization of the number range (default 00-99). To set a custom range (e.g., 10 to 50):

  1. While in standby mode, use the number pad on the remote to enter your desired start number (e.g., 10).
  2. Press RESET/ENT to confirm.
  3. Repeat for the end number (e.g., 50).
  4. The system will now cycle numbers within your defined range.

5.2.7 Change Standby Display Mode

The display unit has three standby modes: default (three dashes), blank, and a single red dot. To change the standby mode:

  1. Press and hold the SET key on the display unit until "F1" appears.
  2. Use the UP and DOWN keys to navigate to "F0".
  3. Press the SET key to confirm, then "E0" will appear.
  4. Press the SET key again. The display will show the current standby mode.
  5. Use the UP and DOWN keys to cycle through the modes (three dashes, blank, single red dot).
  6. Press the RETURN key to exit and save the setting.

5.3 Power-off Memory

The system features a power-off memory function. When enabled, the last called number is automatically stored. Upon reconnection of power, the system will resume calling from "last number + 1".

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Wipe the display unit and call buttons with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

6.2 Battery Replacement

The remote control uses one CR2 battery. If the remote control's range or responsiveness decreases, replace the battery with a new CR2 battery.
