4. Setup
4.1. Front Panel Controls

4.2. Rear Panel Connections
Before making any connections, ensure the receiver is powered off and unplugged from the AC outlet.

4.2.1. Speaker Connections
Connect your speakers to the SPEAKER A or SPEAKER B terminals on the rear panel. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -) for each speaker. The R-S202BL supports two speaker systems (A and B) which can be used individually or simultaneously.
- Speaker A/B: Connect your main speakers to the SPEAKER A terminals. If you have a second pair of speakers, connect them to the SPEAKER B terminals.

4.2.4. Antenna Connections
Connect the supplied FM and AM antennas to their respective terminals for radio reception.
- FM Antenna: Connect the FM antenna to the FM UNBAL 75Ω terminal. Extend the wire for better reception.
- AM Antenna: Assemble and connect the AM loop antenna to the AM terminals. Position it for optimal reception.
4.3. Power Connection
After all audio and speaker connections are made, plug the receiver's power cord into a standard AC wall outlet.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: Press the POWER button on the front panel or the remote control to turn the unit on or off.

- Press the BLUETOOTH input selector button on the front panel or remote. The Bluetooth indicator on the display will flash.
- On your Bluetooth device (e.g., smartphone), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Yamaha R-S202" from the list of devices.
- Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator will stop flashing and remain lit. You can now play audio from your device through the receiver.
5.4. Tuner Operation (FM/AM)
