Maintenance
The SECRUI Wireless Doorbell is designed for low maintenance. Keep the push button and receivers clean by wiping them with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the push button is free from excessive dirt or debris that might impede its function.
The transmitter (push button) uses a CR2032 Lithium Metal battery, which has an average life of 3 years. Replace the battery when the push button's LED indicator no longer lights up or the signal becomes weak.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your doorbell system, please refer to the following common solutions:
- No Sound from Receiver: Ensure the receiver is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Check the volume level and ensure it is not set to mute (0 dB).
- Weak or Intermittent Signal: The 1000ft range is an open-air rating. Walls, metal structures, and other electronic devices can reduce the effective range. Try relocating the receiver closer to the transmitter or to an outlet with fewer obstructions. Check the transmitter battery.
- Transmitter Not Working: Check if the CR2032 battery in the transmitter needs replacement. Ensure the push button is clean and not stuck.
- Accidental Ringing: Ensure the push button is installed on a stable surface and not subject to accidental pressure.
If problems persist, please contact customer service for further assistance.
