4. Setup Guide

4.1 Charging the Device

  1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the LOOKEE Ring.
  2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The device display will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours and provides up to 16 hours of continuous monitoring.

4.2 Downloading the App

The LOOKEE Ring requires the companion mobile application for data viewing, analysis, and report generation.

  • Search for the "LOOKEE" app in the Apple App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices).
  • Download and install the app on your smartphone or tablet.
  • The app is compatible with iOS 9.0 or above (iPhone 4s/iPad 3 or above) and Android 5.0 or above.

4.3 Connecting to the App

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone or tablet.
  2. Open the LOOKEE app.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions within the app to pair your LOOKEE Ring. The device will typically be detected automatically when in close proximity.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Wearing the Device

For accurate readings, proper placement of the LOOKEE Ring is essential.

  • Place the soft silicone sensor ring on your finger, typically the thumb or index finger, with the display facing upwards.
  • Ensure the sensor is snug but comfortable, allowing for proper blood flow. The expandable silicone ring is designed to fit various finger sizes.

5.2 Starting Monitoring

  1. Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to turn on the device.
  2. Once powered on and correctly placed on your finger, the device will automatically begin measuring your SpO2 and PR.
  3. The display will show real-time readings.

5.3 Vibration Reminder

The LOOKEE Ring is equipped with a smart vibration reminder. If your blood oxygen level falls below a preset threshold (configurable in the app), the device will gently vibrate on your finger. This is designed to prompt you to adjust your position or breathing without causing significant disturbance.

5.4 Data Synchronization

The device has a built-in memory that can store up to four groups of 10-hour data. When the LOOKEE Ring is connected to the app via Bluetooth, the stored data will automatically upload to your smartphone or tablet for detailed analysis.

The free LOOKEE app provides a comprehensive platform for managing and analyzing your health data.

6.1 Real-time and Historical Data

  • View your current SpO2 and PR readings directly on the app dashboard.

6.2 Detailed Graphs and Motion Tracking

  • The app supports zooming in on blood oxygen and heart rate graphs to view readings every second during a measurement period.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Device

  • Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth.
