- Brake Check: Test the rear fender brake before each ride to ensure it functions effectively.
- Storage: Store the scooter in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture when not in use.
Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your scooter.
- Loose Handlebars: If the handlebars feel shaky or loose, ensure both the upper and lower clamps on the stem are fully tightened. Re-insert the handlebar grips firmly if they feel loose.
- Ineffective Brake: If the rear fender brake does not slow the scooter effectively, check for any obstructions between the fender and the wheel. Ensure the fender is not bent or damaged.
- Squeaking Noises: Squeaking can often be resolved by cleaning the wheels and bearings. If the noise persists, inspect for loose parts or contact support.
- Difficulty Folding/Unfolding: Ensure all locking mechanisms are fully disengaged when folding or unfolding. Lubricate moving parts if they are stiff.
