Setup and Charging
Battery Installation
The PowerTac M5-G3 comes with a 2600 mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery. To install or replace the battery, unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight. Insert the battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight. Securely screw the tail cap back on.
Magnetic Charging
The M5-G3 features an upgraded magnetic charging system for convenience. Connect the magnetic charging cable to the charging port located on the side of the flashlight. Plug the USB end of the cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, computer USB port). The indicator light will show charging status.

Operating Instructions
The M5-G3 features a dual-switch system for intuitive control.
Tail Switch (Tactical Use)
- Momentary On: Press and hold the tail switch for momentary illumination. Release to turn off.
- Constant On/Off: Fully click the tail switch to turn the flashlight on or off.
- The tail switch also memorizes the last used brightness mode.
Side Switch (Mode Change)
- When the flashlight is ON, click the side switch to cycle through the modes: Firefly → Low → Medium → High → Turbo.
- Strobe Mode: From any mode, press and hold the side switch for approximately 0.3 seconds to activate Strobe mode. Click again to return to the previous mode.
