Setup and Installation

Installing the Bell Push:

  1. Choose a Location: Select a suitable outdoor location near your door, ensuring it is within the 100m operating range of where you intend to plug in the chime unit.
  2. Mounting Options:
    • Adhesive Pad: For smooth, clean surfaces, peel off the backing from the adhesive pad and firmly press the bell push onto the desired location.
    • Screws: For a more secure fitting, use the provided screws. Mark the desired screw holes, drill pilot holes if necessary, and secure the bell push.
  3. Battery: The bell push comes with a pre-installed alkaline battery. No action is required for initial setup.

Setting up the Chime Unit:

  1. Plug In: Insert the chime unit into a standard 13A mains electrical socket indoors. Ensure the socket is easily accessible.
  2. Pairing (if necessary): The bell push and chime unit are typically pre-paired from the factory. If they do not connect automatically, refer to the "Troubleshooting" section for pairing instructions.

Operating Instructions

Changing the Chime Melody:

The chime unit features 32 selectable melodies. To change the melody:

  1. Locate the melody selection button on the side or front of the chime unit.
  2. Press the button repeatedly to cycle through the available melodies.
  3. Stop pressing when you hear your desired melody. The chime unit will remember this selection.

Adjusting the Volume:

The chime unit has a volume control to adjust the sound output up to 95dB.

  1. Locate the volume control button or dial on the chime unit.
  2. Press the button or turn the dial to increase or decrease the volume to your preference.

Testing the System:

Once installed, press the bell push to confirm that the chime unit sounds. Ensure the chime unit is plugged in and powered on.

Maintenance

Cleaning:

Wipe the chime unit and bell push with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the chime unit is unplugged before cleaning.

Battery Replacement (Bell Push):

The bell push is powered by an alkaline battery. If the bell push stops working or its range decreases significantly, the battery may need replacement.

  1. Carefully open the bell push casing (refer to the diagram in the original packaging if available, or gently pry open with a small screwdriver).
  2. Remove the old battery and dispose of it responsibly.
  3. Insert a new alkaline battery of the same type, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the bell push casing securely.
  5. Test the system to ensure functionality.
