6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

To clean the keyboard, first disconnect the power adapter. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the surface. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water, then wipe dry immediately. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they can damage the finish.

6.2 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If possible, cover the keyboard with a dust cover to protect it from dust and debris.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Technical Pro PIA6100 keyboard, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No Power:
    • Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the keyboard and a working electrical outlet.
    • Verify that the power outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
  • No Sound:
    • Check the MASTER VOLUME level; ensure it is not set to minimum.
    • If headphones are connected, sound will only output through them. Disconnect headphones to hear sound from the built-in speakers.
    • Ensure no other audio cables are connected to output jacks that might mute the internal speakers.
  • Keys Not Responding:
    • Restart the keyboard by turning it off and on again.
    • Ensure no settings (e.g., 'Local Control Off') are accidentally activated that might disable key input.
  • Rhythm/Demo Song Not Playing:
    • Ensure the START/STOP button has been pressed after selecting a rhythm or demo song.
    • Check the volume levels for accompaniment.

If the problem persists after trying these steps, please contact Technical Pro customer support.
