4. Assembly Instructions
Follow the numbered steps in the included pictorial guide for detailed assembly. The following outlines key features and considerations during construction.
4.1 Core V2 Gundam Assembly
Begin by assembling the core V2 Gundam body. This kit features an internal frame structure designed to support the additional armor and weaponry of the Assault Buster configuration. Pay close attention to the updated parts for the exterior, which ensure proper fit and articulation.

4.2 Assault Buster Armor and Weaponry
The defining characteristic of this kit is the ability to reproduce the "Assault Buster" form. This involves attaching additional armor and weapons to the core V2 Gundam. The kit includes new molding for these additional armaments, ensuring a detailed and accurate representation.
4.2.1 Mega Beam Rifle
Assemble the long mega beam rifle, which consists of a barrel unit and a control unit. This weapon features a sliding barrel part, a deployable grip, a shooting sensor, and exhaust heat fins. Ensure all movable parts are assembled correctly for full functionality.

4.2.2 Waist Bars and Mega Beam Shield
The waist bars on both sides are newly molded and feature a slide gimmick for expansion. The mega beam shield is also newly molded and allows for the separation and removal of three barrier bits. Attach these components securely to the main body.
4.2.3 Missile Pods and Backpack Armaments
The six missile/pods located on the waist and legs can be displayed in an open or closed state using a parts selection formula. The backpack includes newly molded armed mega beam cannon and spray beam pod. These components contribute to the heavy armament of the Buster form.

4.3 Modular Armor Configuration
The armor of the entire body is designed to be removable. This allows for free reconfiguration between the "Assault" form (heavy armor strengthening) and the "Buster" form (reinforced heavy armament). You can detach and reattach armor pieces to switch between these modes.
4.4 Decals and Finishing
Apply the included "Ver.Ka" water transfer type decals to enhance the model's appearance. Refer to the decal placement guide in the pictorial instructions. The kit features matte gold plating on characteristic yellow/gold parts and renewed molding colors for red, blue, and white parts, reminiscent of the animation.

5. Display and Posing
Once assembled, your V2 Assault Buster Gundam Ver.Ka is ready for display. The internal frame and updated parts provide excellent articulation, allowing for a wide range of dynamic poses. Carefully adjust joints to achieve desired stances. Avoid excessive force to prevent damage to parts.
- Joint Movement: Move joints slowly and deliberately. If a joint feels stiff, do not force it.
- Weapon Handling: Ensure weapons are securely held in the hands or mounted on designated hardpoints.
- Stability: For complex poses, consider using a display stand (sold separately) to maintain stability.
6. Maintenance
Proper care will preserve the appearance and longevity of your model kit.
- Cleaning: Dust the model regularly with a soft brush or a can of compressed air. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the model away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity to prevent material degradation or discoloration.
- Handling: Handle the model by its main body whenever possible, avoiding delicate parts or antennae.
7. Troubleshooting Common Assembly Issues
- Parts Not Fitting: Double-check the instruction manual to ensure you are using the correct parts and orientation. Sometimes, a small amount of plastic flash may need to be trimmed.
- Loose Joints: If a joint is too loose, a thin layer of clear nail polish or hobby cement applied to the ball joint and allowed to dry can increase friction.
- Decal Application Issues: If water transfer decals are not adhering, ensure the surface is clean and use decal setting solutions if necessary.
- Missing Parts: Carefully check all runners and the packaging. If a part is genuinely missing, contact the retailer or manufacturer's customer support.
