Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the lamp base.
- Slide open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 3 AAA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Note: The Go Lamp is primarily battery-powered. While it can be powered via a USB cable, it does not contain an internal rechargeable battery. Batteries must be installed for cordless operation.
2. Optional USB Power Connection
If you prefer to power the lamp via USB, connect the provided USB power cord to the lamp's USB port and to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter). Batteries must still be installed for the lamp to function when disconnected from USB power.
3. Positioning the Lamp
The Go Lamp features an ultra-flexible neck. Bend and adjust the neck to direct the light exactly where needed. The neck is designed to hold its position firmly.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off and Brightness Adjustment
- Locate the touch-sensitive power button on the lamp base.
- First Touch: Tap the power button once to turn the lamp on at its lowest brightness setting.
- Second Touch: Tap again to increase the brightness to a medium level.
- Third Touch: Tap a third time for the highest brightness setting.
- Fourth Touch: Tap a fourth time to turn the lamp off.
The lamp cycles through low, medium, high brightness, and off with each successive touch.
2. Adjusting Light Angle
Gently bend the flexible neck of the lamp to position the LED light head at your desired angle and height. The neck will maintain its adjusted shape.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the lamp with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace all 3 AAA batteries simultaneously when the light dims or stops working. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and store the lamp in a cool, dry place.
- Water Exposure: This lamp is not waterproof. Avoid exposure to water or high humidity.
