3. Setup Guide

3.1 Initial Device Setup

  1. Power On: Press and hold both buttons on the Ledger Nano X simultaneously until the Ledger logo appears on the screen.
  2. Set Up as New Device: Follow the on-screen prompts to set up your device as a new Ledger.
  3. Choose PIN: Select a PIN code (4-8 digits) using the device's buttons. Confirm your PIN.
  4. Write Down Recovery Phrase: The device will display a 24-word recovery phrase. It is crucial to write these words down precisely on the provided recovery sheets. This phrase is the only backup of your private keys. Store these sheets in a secure, offline location, separate from your device. Never share your recovery phrase with anyone.
  5. Confirm Recovery Phrase: The device will ask you to confirm a few words from your recovery phrase to ensure you have written it down correctly.
