3. Product Overview
The FOSA HRD-737 is a compact and versatile radio receiver. Familiarize yourself with its key components and features.
3.1. LCD Display

4. Setup
4.1. Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the radio. Connect the provided USB charging wire to the DC 5V port on the radio and to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The charging indicator on the display will show charging status.
4.2. Antenna Connection
For optimal reception, especially on shortwave bands, extend the built-in tie-rod antenna. For enhanced shortwave reception, connect the extended antenna to the dedicated antenna port.
4.3. Headphone Connection
To listen privately, insert the 3.5mm earplug into the headphone jack. The internal speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off
Press and hold the 'POWER/SLEEP' button located on the top of the radio to turn the device on or off.
5.2. Band Selection
Press the 'BAND' button to cycle through the available frequency bands: AIR, FM, AM, CB, SW, VHF.
5.3. Search Modes
The radio offers four search modes:
- Manual Search: Use the tuning buttons (up/down arrows) to manually adjust the frequency.
- Automatic Search: Press the 'MODE' button to initiate an automatic scan for available stations within the current band.
- Full Automatic Search and Store: This mode automatically scans all frequencies within a band and stores detected stations into memory. Refer to the 'MEMO' button for saving and recalling stations.
5.4. Volume Control
Adjust the listening volume using the 'VOL' up/down buttons on the side of the radio.
5.5. Automatic Power Off Timer

5.6. Alarm / Radio Automatic Power On
