Setup and Operating Instructions

2. Attaching the Extension Bar
- Take the 3-inch extension bar from the set.
- Insert the square drive end of the extension bar into the corresponding square opening of your chosen flip socket. The spring-loaded detent ball will secure the connection.
- Attach the other end of the 3-inch extension bar to your 1/2-inch drive impact wrench or power tool. Ensure a firm connection.

3. Using the Impact Socket
- With the socket and extension securely attached to your impact tool, align the socket with the lug nut.
- Apply steady pressure and operate your impact tool to loosen or tighten the lug nut.
- To switch to the other size on the flip socket, simply detach it from the extension, flip the socket, and reattach.
Always ensure the lug nuts are tightened to the manufacturer's recommended torque specifications using a torque wrench after initial tightening with the impact tool.
Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your LEXIVON Impact Socket Set, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe down the sockets and extension bar with a clean, dry cloth to remove any dirt, grease, or debris.
- Storage: Store the set in its original durable case in a dry environment to protect it from moisture and potential damage. The Manganese Phosphate coating provides rust and corrosion protection, but proper storage further extends its lifespan.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the sockets and extension bar for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage. Discontinue use of any damaged tools to prevent injury or further damage to fasteners.
