5. Operating Instructions
The K KASONIC PWC201 features a mechanical 24-hour timer with up to 48 ON/OFF settings per day, in 30-minute intervals.
- Open Timer Cover: Lift the clear weatherproof cover on top of the timer unit to access the dial.
- Reset Pins: The timer dial has small pins around its circumference. When new, these pins may be pressed down. To begin programming, pull all pins UP.
- Set ON Times: Press the pins DOWN for the periods you want your connected devices to be ON. Each pin represents a 30-minute interval. For example, to turn on from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, press down the pins corresponding to 6:00 PM, 6:30 PM, 7:00 PM, ..., 9:30 PM. Pins UP means the timer is OFF during that interval.
- Set Current Time: Rotate the entire timer dial clockwise until the current time aligns with the arrow indicator on the timer's face. Ensure you distinguish between AM and PM hours (the dial is marked 1-12 twice).
- Close Timer Cover: Securely close the clear weatherproof cover to protect the timer mechanism from the elements.
- Activate Power: Ensure the manual ON/OFF switch located on the side of the unit is in the 'ON' position.
Once programmed and powered, the settings will repeat daily. The timer will automatically turn your devices ON and OFF according to your set schedule.

Figure 4: Easy Use Timer Steps. This image illustrates the four steps to program the mechanical timer: 1. Lift all pins up to reset. 2. Press down pins for desired ON times. 3. Turn the dial to the current time. 4. Turn on the main switch.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the timer from the power source before cleaning. Wipe the unit with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure all parts are dry before reconnecting to power.

- Weather Protection: Always ensure the clear timer cover and individual outlet covers are securely closed when not in use to maintain weatherproof integrity.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the timer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
