Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your Heater Sports Deuce 95 Pitching Machine and Xtender 48:

  1. Assemble the Tripod Stand:

    Unfold the tripod legs and secure them in place. Ensure the stand is stable and level on the ground.

  2. Attach the Pitching Machine Head:

    Carefully lift the Deuce 95 pitching machine head and place it onto the tripod stand. Align the mounting holes and secure it using the provided bolts, nuts, and washers. Tighten all fasteners firmly.

  3. Install the Xtender 48 Ball Feeder:

    Attach the Xtender 48 ball feeder to the designated mounting points on the pitching machine head. Ensure it is securely fastened and that the ball chute aligns correctly with the machine's ball entry point.

  4. Connect Power:

    Plug the power cord into the pitching machine and then into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the power switch on the machine is in the "OFF" position before connecting to power.

Operating Instructions

Before operating, ensure all safety precautions are understood and followed.

  1. Load Balls:

    Place regulation baseballs or softballs into the Xtender 48 ball feeder. Do not overload the feeder.

  2. Adjust Pitching Angle:

    Loosen the adjustment knobs on the pitching machine head to set the desired pitching angle (height). Retighten the knobs firmly once the desired angle is achieved.

  3. Set Speed:

    The Deuce 95 features 2 adjustable speeds. Use the speed control dial or switch to select the desired pitching speed. Start with a lower speed and gradually increase as needed.

  4. Power On:

    Flip the power switch to the "ON" position. The pitching wheels will begin to spin. Allow a few moments for the wheels to reach full speed before feeding balls.

  5. Feed Balls:

    The Xtender 48 ball feeder will automatically feed balls into the pitching machine at regular intervals. Stand clear of the ball exit point.

  6. Power Off:

    When finished, turn the power switch to the "OFF" position and unplug the machine from the power source.
