General Assembly Steps

1. Attach Casters to Star Base: Insert the five casters into the openings at the ends of the star base until they click securely into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the star base. Cover the gas lift with the cylinder cover.
3. Attach Tilt Mechanism to Seat Cushion: Align the tilt mechanism with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Secure it using the provided screws (H2 screws). Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat.
4. Attach Armrests to Seat Cushion: Fasten the armrests to the sides of the seat cushion using the provided screws (H1 screws). Do not fully tighten yet.
5. Attach Backrest to Armrests: Connect the backrest to the armrests using the remaining screws. Once all screws are in place, tighten all armrest and backrest screws evenly.
6. Connect Seat Assembly to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring it is centered and stable.

Operating Instructions

Adjusting Chair Height

To adjust the seat height, locate the lever on the right side, beneath the seat. While seated, pull the lever up to lower the seat. To raise the seat, stand up slightly and pull the lever up. Release the lever at your desired height.

Tilt Function

The chair features a tilt function allowing the backrest to recline between 95 and 120 degrees. To activate the tilt, pull the same lever outwards. Push it inwards to lock the backrest in an upright position. A tension knob located under the seat can be rotated to adjust the resistance of the tilt mechanism.

Swivel Function

The chair is equipped with a 360-degree swivel function, allowing for easy rotation and access to your workspace without strain.

• Chair wobbles or feels unstable: Check all assembly screws, especially those connecting the armrests to the seat and backrest, and the tilt mechanism to the seat. Tighten any loose connections.
• Casters do not roll smoothly: Inspect casters for trapped debris (hair, lint) and remove it. Ensure casters are fully inserted into the star base.
• Backrest does not tilt or lock: Verify the tilt lever is correctly positioned (pulled out for tilt, pushed in to lock). Adjust the tilt tension knob to ensure it's not too tight or too loose.
• Squeaking noises: Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to moving parts, especially where metal components meet, such as the tilt mechanism and gas lift connection points.
