Troubleshooting
- Robot does not suction to the window:
- Ensure the power cord is securely connected and the robot is powered on.
- Check if the window surface is clean and dry. Excessive dirt or moisture can reduce suction.
- Verify that the cleaning cloths are properly attached and not obstructing the suction area.
- Ensure the minimum cleaning area requirement (13x13 inches) is met.
- Robot leaves streaks or does not clean effectively:
- Replace or wash the cleaning cloths. Dirty cloths can cause streaking.
- Ensure the water tank is filled with appropriate cleaning solution.
- For very dirty windows, a pre-cleaning pass with dry cloths may be beneficial, followed by a wet cleaning pass.
- Check if the ultrasonic spray nozzle is clogged. If so, the water tank may need replacement.
- Robot gets stuck or falls:
- Ensure the safety rope is always attached and secured.
- Verify that the window edges are not rounded or irregular, which can interfere with edge detection.
- Check for obstructions on the window surface.
- If the robot consistently gets stuck in corners, manual intervention may be required to guide it.
- App connection issues:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
- Make sure the robot is powered on and within Bluetooth range.
- Restart the HOBOT App and try pairing again.
