Setup

1. Charging the Headphones

  1. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the charging port on your headphones.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The LED indicator will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
  4. Once fully charged, the LED indicator will change or turn off. Disconnect the charging cable.

2. Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

  1. Ensure the headphones are turned off.
  2. Press and hold the Multi-function Button (MFB) for approximately 5-7 seconds until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "Vention Openbeat O12" from the list of found devices.
  5. Once paired, the LED indicator will flash blue slowly or turn off, and you will hear a confirmation tone.
  6. If prompted for a password, enter "0000".

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the MFB for 3 seconds. The LED will flash blue, and you will hear a power-on tone.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the MFB for 5 seconds. The LED will flash red, and you will hear a power-off tone.

Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Press the MFB once.
  • Next Track: Press and hold the Volume + button for 2 seconds.
  • Previous Track: Press and hold the Volume - button for 2 seconds.
  • Volume Up: Press the Volume + button once.
  • Volume Down: Press the Volume - button once.

Call Management

  • Answer/End Call: Press the MFB once during an incoming call or an active call.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the MFB for 2 seconds during an incoming call.
  • Redial Last Number: Double-press the MFB when no call is active.
  • Activate Voice Assistant: Triple-press the MFB when no call is active.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the headphones. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the headphones in water.
  • Storage: Store the headphones in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, charge the headphones regularly, even if not in use for extended periods. Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Water Resistance: These headphones are designed for sport use and are typically sweat-resistant. Avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain or submersion in water.

Troubleshooting

  • Headphones won't turn on: Ensure the headphones are fully charged. Connect them to a power source and try again.
  • Cannot pair with device:
    • Ensure the headphones are in pairing mode (LED flashing red and blue).
    • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and it's within range (typically 10 meters).
    • Forget/delete "Vention Openbeat O12" from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
    • Restart both your headphones and your device.
  • No sound or low volume:
    • Check the volume levels on both the headphones and your connected device.
    • Ensure the headphones are properly connected to your device.
    • Try playing different audio sources.
  • Charging issues:
    • Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the headphones and the power source.
    • Try using a different USB-C cable or power adapter.
    • Check the charging port for any debris.
