Operating Instructions
The Runleader RL-HM059 operates automatically once installed and exposed to vibrations. It features several display modes and programmable settings.
Display Modes and Functions:
- Total Hour Meter (TOT):
This displays the total accumulated operating hours of the equipment. The TOT hours are non-resettable and remain visible on the display. Accuracy is 1 minute, and the display range is 0 to 999,999 hours.

- Job Timers (JOB1 & JOB2):
These timers are used to measure the duration of specific tasks or jobs. They are resettable, allowing you to track time for activities like oil changes or specific project durations. The display range is 0 to 999,999 hours with 1-minute accuracy.

- Service Timers (SVC1 & SVC2):
These are programmable countdown timers (0-1000 hours) designed to remind you of scheduled maintenance. When the countdown reaches zero, the display will flash an alert. This is useful for reminders like air filter replacement.

Adjusting Vibration Sensitivity:
The meter features three vibration sensitivity settings to ensure accurate tracking across different types of equipment.
- SEN-1 (Low): Suitable for equipment with low vibration (frequency > 32 Hz).
- SEN-2 (Medium): Suitable for equipment with medium vibration (frequency > 18 Hz).
- SEN-3 (High): Suitable for equipment with high vibration (frequency > 4 Hz).
To adjust sensitivity, refer to the detailed instructions in the full user manual (link provided in support section) or the product's quick start guide. Typically, this involves pressing and holding a button to cycle through the settings.

Lock Function (Shutdown):
The lock function prevents the meter from accumulating hours during transport or when not in use. When activated, the display will turn off, and no time will be recorded. Previous data is automatically saved.
To activate/deactivate the lock function, press and hold the button until "LOC" appears or disappears from the display, indicating the meter is locked or unlocked, respectively.

Maintenance
The Runleader RL-HM059 is designed for low maintenance. Follow these guidelines to ensure its longevity:
- Cleaning: Wipe the meter with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Water Exposure: While the meter is IP68 waterproof, avoid prolonged submersion or high-pressure water jets.
- Battery: The internal lithium metal battery is designed for long life and is not user-replaceable. If the display becomes dim or unresponsive, the battery may be depleted, indicating the end of the product's life cycle.
- Storage: If storing the equipment for an extended period, consider activating the lock function to conserve battery life and prevent accidental hour accumulation.
Using Service Timers (SVC1 & SVC2):
Utilize the programmable service timers to set reminders for routine maintenance tasks on your equipment, such as:
- Oil changes
- Air filter replacement
- Spark plug inspection
- General equipment servicing
To set or reset SVC timers, refer to the detailed operating instructions in the full user manual.
Troubleshooting

| Hour meter not accumulating time. | Meter is in lock mode ("LOC"). Insufficient vibration. Incorrect vibration sensitivity setting. | Deactivate lock mode. Ensure the equipment is running and producing sufficient vibration. Adjust vibration sensitivity (SEN-1, SEN-2, SEN-3) to match your equipment's vibration level. Try a higher sensitivity setting. |
| JOB timer not resetting. | Incorrect button operation. | Ensure you are following the correct procedure for resetting JOB timers as outlined in the full user manual. |
| SVC timer not alerting. | SVC timer not set correctly or has already alerted and been reset. | Verify the SVC timer is programmed with a future maintenance interval. |
