4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the scanner's internal 1000 mAh Lithium Ion battery. Connect the scanner to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port or USB wall adapter) using the provided USB cable. The LED indicator will show charging status.
4.2 Connecting via Bluetooth
- Ensure the scanner is charged.
- Turn on the scanner.
- Activate Bluetooth on your host device (computer, tablet, smartphone).
- If using the provided USB Bluetooth dongle, plug it into an available USB port on your host device.
- On your host device, search for available Bluetooth devices. The scanner should appear as "iggual L2DBT" or similar.
- Select the scanner to pair. Follow any on-screen prompts.
- Once paired, the scanner's LED indicator will confirm a successful connection.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Scanning
- Ensure the scanner is connected to your device.
- Point the scanning window towards the barcode you wish to scan.
- Press the trigger button. A red scanning line or area will appear.
- Hold the scanner steady until you hear a beep and see the LED flash, indicating a successful scan.
- The scanned data will be transmitted to your connected device as keyboard input.
5.2 Scanning Modes
The scanner supports both manual and automatic scanning modes. Refer to the full user manual (if available) for instructions on switching between modes using configuration barcodes.
6. Maintenance
