1. Important Safety Instructions

• A fire may occur if the oven is covered or touching flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation.

4. Setup and First Use

Unpacking:

1. Carefully remove the oven from its packaging.
2. Remove all packing materials, promotional labels, and tape from the oven.
3. Remove all accessories from the oven cavity.

Placement:

• Place the oven on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.
• Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the oven (at least 10 cm clearance on all sides).
• Do not place the oven near flammable materials like curtains or walls.

Before First Use:

1. Wipe the exterior of the oven with a damp cloth.
2. Wash all accessories (baking tray, wire rack, rotisserie parts, etc.) in warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
3. Insert the crumb tray at the bottom of the oven.
4. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (1400W, 220-240V).
5. It is recommended to run the oven empty for about 15 minutes at maximum temperature (250°C) with the function set to 'Bake' to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present during this process; ensure good ventilation.

5. Operating Instructions

The Tefal Delicio OTG024 features three control knobs for temperature, cooking mode, and timer.

Control Knobs:

• Top Knob (TEMP/°C): Adjusts the cooking temperature from 100°C to 250°C.
• Middle Knob (SELECTED): Selects the cooking mode.
• Bottom Knob (TIMER/min): Sets the cooking time from 0 to 60 minutes. Includes an 'ON' position for continuous operation.

Cooking Modes:

The OTG offers 6 cooking modes:

• Bake: Uses both upper and lower heating elements for even baking. Ideal for cakes, cookies, and casseroles.
• Broil/Grill: Uses only the upper heating elements for grilling and browning. Suitable for toasts, open sandwiches, and grilling vegetables.
• Toast: Similar to broil, often used for bread.
• Roast: Combines heating from both elements, often at a lower temperature for longer periods, suitable for roasting meats and vegetables.
• Rotisserie: Activates the rotisserie function along with heating elements (usually upper and lower) for uniform roasting of whole chicken or large meat pieces.
• Combination Modes: Specific settings might combine upper/lower elements or rotisserie with different heating patterns. Refer to the knob markings for precise selection.

General Operation Steps:

1. Prepare Food: Place your food on the appropriate accessory (wire rack, baking tray, or rotisserie rod).
2. Insert Food: Carefully slide the accessory with food into the oven.
3. Set Temperature: Turn the TEMP/°C knob to the desired temperature.
4. Select Mode: Turn the SELECTED knob to the desired cooking mode.
5. Set Timer: Turn the TIMER/min knob to the desired cooking time. The oven will start heating. The indicator light will illuminate.
6. Monitor Cooking: Use the illuminated chamber to observe the cooking process.
7. Completion: The oven will automatically shut off and a bell will ring when the timer reaches zero. If you wish to stop cooking earlier, turn the timer knob to 'OFF'.
8. Remove Food: Using oven mitts and the provided tongs, carefully remove the cooked food and accessories from the oven.
