The DreamSky DS206 features a large, easy-to-read display and intuitive controls for convenient use.
Front Display
The front display shows the current time, AM/PM indicator, indoor temperature, and icons for active alarms and radio status. The large orange digits ensure visibility.

Top Control Buttons
The top panel houses all control buttons for setting time, alarms, radio functions, and display brightness.
- SNOOZE: Activates snooze function when alarm sounds.
- TIME SET: Enters time setting mode.
- ALARM SET: Enters alarm setting mode.
- FM ON/OFF: Turns FM radio on or off.
- SLEEP: Sets the radio sleep timer.
- VOL +/-: Adjusts volume for radio and alarm.
- TUNE +/-: Tunes FM radio frequency.
- 12/24H / ℃/℉: Toggles between 12/24 hour format and Celsius/Fahrenheit temperature display.
- ALARM ON/OFF: Activates or deactivates the alarm.
Setup
1. Power Connection
- Insert the DC power adapter into the DC IN jack on the back of the clock radio.
- Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet. The display will light up.
2. Battery Backup Installation
The battery backup feature ensures that time and alarm settings are retained during a power outage.
- Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the unit.
- Insert 3 new AAA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
3. Setting Time
- Press and hold the TIME SET button until the hour digits flash.
- Press TUNE + or TUNE - to adjust the hour. Observe the AM/PM indicator.
- Press TIME SET again, and the minute digits will flash.
- Press TUNE + or TUNE - to adjust the minutes.
- Press TIME SET once more to confirm and exit time setting mode.
4. Setting 12/24 Hour Format and Temperature Unit
Press the 12/24H / ℃/℉ button to toggle between:
- 12-hour format (with AM/PM indicator) or 24-hour format.
- Celsius (℃) or Fahrenheit (℉) for temperature display.
5. Adjusting Display Brightness
The display brightness is adjustable from 0% (off) to 100% (maximum brightness).

Press the SNOOZE button repeatedly to cycle through brightness levels or hold it to smoothly adjust the brightness from 0% to 100%.
Operating Instructions
1. Alarm Settings
Setting Alarm Time
- Press and hold the ALARM SET button until the alarm hour digits flash.
- Press TUNE + or TUNE - to adjust the alarm hour.
- Press ALARM SET again, and the alarm minute digits will flash.
- Press TUNE + or TUNE - to adjust the alarm minutes.
- Press ALARM SET once more to confirm and exit alarm setting mode.
Selecting Alarm Source and Volume
After setting the alarm time, you can choose to wake up to a buzzer or FM radio.

- While the alarm time is flashing (or immediately after setting it), press ALARM SET again to select the alarm source. The display will show either "BUZ" or the FM radio frequency.
- If "BUZ" is selected, press VOL + or VOL - to choose one of 3 buzzer volume levels (low, medium, high).
- If FM radio is selected, press VOL + or VOL - to set the radio alarm volume from L0 to L15.
- Press ALARM SET to confirm your selection.
Activating/Deactivating Alarm
Press the ALARM ON/OFF button to toggle the alarm on or off. An alarm icon will appear on the display when the alarm is active.
2. Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button to temporarily silence the alarm for 8 minutes. The alarm will sound again after 8 minutes. This can be repeated for up to one hour.
To turn off the alarm completely for the day, press any other button (e.g., ALARM ON/OFF, FM ON/OFF) or let it sound for 60 minutes without intervention.
3. FM Radio Operation

Turning Radio On/Off
Press the FM ON/OFF button to turn the FM radio on or off.
Tuning Stations
- Manual Tuning: Press TUNE + or TUNE - repeatedly to adjust the frequency step by step.
- Auto Scan: Press and hold TUNE + or TUNE - for 2 seconds to automatically scan for the next available station.
Adjusting Radio Volume
When the radio is on, press VOL + or VOL - to adjust the volume from L0 (minimum) to L15 (maximum).
Sleep Timer
The sleep timer allows the radio to play for a set duration before automatically turning off.
- With the radio on, press the SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through sleep timer options: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120 minutes, or OFF.
- The radio will play for the selected duration and then turn off automatically.
4. USB Charging Port

The clock radio features a USB port (5V/2.1A output) on the side for charging compatible electronic devices such as smartphones or tablets. Connect your device's USB charging cable to this port.
Note: The USB port is for charging only and does not support data transfer. Ensure your device's charging requirements do not exceed 2.1A.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace backup batteries annually or when the clock loses time during power interruptions.
- Placement: Place the unit on a stable, flat surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
Troubleshooting
