4. Setup

Before first use, follow these steps:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and check for any damage.
  2. Clean: Wash the interior of the frother and the whisk attachments with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Do not immerse the exterior of the frother or the base in water.
  3. Placement: Place the frother unit on a clean, dry, and stable surface near a power outlet.
  4. Attach Whisk: Select the appropriate whisk attachment (frothing whisk for foam, heating whisk for just heating) and place it securely onto the pin at the bottom of the frother's interior.

5. Operation

The Caso Design Fomini Crema Inox Electric Milk Frother features two main buttons for operation: one for hot frothing/heating and one for cold frothing.

5.1. Frothing Hot Milk (for Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato)

  1. Ensure the frothing whisk attachment is correctly installed.
  2. Pour cold milk into the frother. Do not exceed the "MAX FROTH" fill line (approx. 3.4 fl. oz.).
  3. Place the lid on the frother.
  4. Press the top button (indicated by three wavy lines) once. The button will illuminate, and the frother will begin heating and frothing the milk.
  5. The frother will automatically stop when the process is complete.
  6. Carefully remove the lid and pour the frothed milk.

5.2. Frothing Cold Milk (for Iced Coffee, Cold Foam)

  1. Ensure the frothing whisk attachment is correctly installed.
  2. Pour cold milk into the frother. Do not exceed the "MAX FROTH" fill line (approx. 3.4 fl. oz.).
  3. Place the lid on the frother.
  4. Press the bottom button (indicated by a snowflake icon) once. The button will illuminate, and the frother will begin frothing the milk without heating.
  5. The frother will automatically stop when the process is complete.
  6. Carefully remove the lid and pour the cold frothed milk.

5.3. Heating Milk (without Frothing)

  1. Replace the frothing whisk with the heating whisk attachment (if provided, typically a flat ring).
  2. Pour cold milk into the frother. Do not exceed the "MAX HEAT" fill line (approx. 6.8 fl. oz.).
  3. Place the lid on the frother.
  4. Press the top button (indicated by three wavy lines) once. The button will illuminate, and the frother will begin heating the milk.
  5. The frother will automatically stop when the milk reaches the optimal temperature.
  6. Carefully remove the lid and pour the hot milk.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your milk frother. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Disconnect the frother from the power outlet and allow it to cool down completely after each use.
  2. Remove Whisk: Carefully remove the whisk attachment from the frother.
  3. Clean Interior: Wash the interior of the frother and the whisk attachments with warm water and a mild dish soap. Use a soft sponge or cloth to avoid scratching the non-stick coating.
  4. Rinse and Dry: Rinse the interior and whisk thoroughly with clean water. Dry all parts completely before storing.
