5. Operating Instructions
The Schellenberg Action 20223 Roller Shutter Motor features mechanical end position adjustment, allowing you to precisely set the upper and lower limits of your roller shutter's travel.
5.1 Initial Power-Up
- Restore power to the roller shutter system.
- Operate the roller shutter briefly using your connected switch or timer to ensure basic functionality.
5.2 Mechanical End Position Adjustment
The adjustment tool is used to set the upper and lower end positions. The adjustment screws are located on the motor head.
- Setting the Upper End Position: Drive the roller shutter upwards until it reaches your desired upper limit. Insert the adjustment tool into the designated screw for the upper limit (refer to the motor head markings). Turn the screw clockwise to increase the travel or counter-clockwise to decrease it, fine-tuning the position.
- Setting the Lower End Position: Drive the roller shutter downwards until it reaches your desired lower limit. Insert the adjustment tool into the designated screw for the lower limit. Turn the screw clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the position.
- Verification: Operate the roller shutter several times between the set upper and lower limits to confirm that the positions are correctly stored and the motor stops precisely.
5.3 Daily Operation
Once the end positions are set, you can conveniently control the roller shutter using your connected roller shutter switch or timer. Follow the instructions provided with your specific control unit for daily operation.
6. Maintenance
The Schellenberg Action 20223 Roller Shutter Motor is designed to be maintenance-free. No lubrication or regular servicing of the motor unit itself is required.
