Setup

Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the Absaar MJS 1000 Jump Starter. Connect the provided AC power adapter to the jump starter's input port and plug it into a standard wall outlet. The LCD screen will indicate the charging status. Charging typically takes several hours. Ensure the device is fully charged before storing or using for jump starting.

Checking Battery Level

Operating Instructions

1. Jump Starting a Vehicle

  1. Prepare the Vehicle: Turn off the vehicle's ignition and all accessories (lights, radio, air conditioning). Engage the parking brake.
  2. Connect Smart Clamps: Insert the EC5 smart battery clamps into the jump starter's EC5 output port. Ensure a secure connection.
  3. Attach to Battery:
    • Connect the RED positive (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
    • Connect the BLACK negative (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's battery or to a solid, unpainted metal part of the vehicle's engine block or chassis, away from the battery.

The smart clamps will indicate a correct connection (e.g., a green light or audible signal). If an error is detected (e.g., reverse polarity), the clamps will signal a warning.

  4. Start the Vehicle: Once the clamps are correctly connected and the smart clamps indicate readiness, start the vehicle's engine. Do not crank for more than 3 seconds. If the vehicle does not start, wait at least 30 seconds before attempting again.
  5. Disconnect: As soon as the vehicle starts, disconnect the BLACK negative (-) clamp first, followed by the RED positive (+) clamp. Then, disconnect the smart clamps from the jump starter.
