1. Introduction

The Aexit THC15A is a digital electronic time switch designed for precise control of electrical circuits. Important Note: This product is not designed to directly control high current loads. For heating elements or other high-current applications, an external AC Solid State Relay (SSR) contactor must be used.

4. Setup and Installation

The THC15A timer switch is designed for DIN rail mounting. Follow these steps for proper installation:

1. Mounting: Securely attach the timer to a standard 35mm DIN rail in an appropriate electrical enclosure.
2. Wiring: Connect the power supply and load according to the wiring diagram provided on the device and below. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.

Wiring Diagram Overview:

• Input Power (24V DC): Connect the 24V DC power supply to the designated input terminals (typically marked L and N or + and -).
• Load Connection: The timer features a 1 changeover switch contact. Connect your load to the appropriate terminals (e.g., COM, NO, NC) based on whether you need the load to be ON or OFF when the timer is active.

5. Operating Instructions

Button Functions:

• Timer: Enters program setting mode.

• H+ (Hour+): Adjusts the hour.
• M+ (Minute+): Adjusts the minute.

Setting Current Time:

1. Press the 'Day' button to set the current day of the week.
2. Press 'H+' to set the current hour.
3. Press 'M+' to set the current minute.

Programming ON/OFF Cycles:

The timer supports up to 17 ON and 17 OFF programs.

1. Press the 'Timer' button to enter program setting mode. The display will show '1 ON'.
2. Use 'Day' to select the desired day(s) for this program (e.g., Mon-Fri, Sat-Sun, or individual days).
3. Use 'H+' and 'M+' to set the ON time.
4. Press 'Timer' again. The display will show '1 OFF'.
5. Use 'Day', 'H+', and 'M+' to set the OFF time for the first program.
6. Repeat steps 1-5 for additional ON/OFF programs (up to 17 pairs).
7. After setting all programs, press the 'Timer' button repeatedly until the current time is displayed, or wait for a few seconds for it to exit programming mode automatically.

Manual Override:

Press the 'Manual Override' button to temporarily switch the output state (ON/OFF) without affecting the programmed schedule. Pressing it again will cycle through different manual modes (e.g., ON, OFF, Auto).

The Aexit THC15A timer switch requires minimal maintenance.

• Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery: The internal lithium battery provides a power reserve for up to 3 years. If the display becomes dim or settings are lost during power outages, the battery may need replacement. This should be performed by a qualified technician.

7. Troubleshooting

• Device not powering on: Check the 24V DC power supply connections and ensure power is present. Verify wiring according to the diagram.
• Programs not executing: Ensure the current time is set correctly. Check that the timer is in 'Auto' mode (not manual override). Verify that the ON/OFF times are correctly programmed and do not overlap illogically.
• Incorrect time display: The device has an automatic time error correction of +/- 60 seconds weekly. If the time is significantly off, reset the device and set the current time again. A weak internal battery might also affect timekeeping during power interruptions.
• Display is blank or dim: Check power supply. If power is present, the internal battery might be depleted.
