2. Safety Information

5. Installation
Important: Ensure power is disconnected at the circuit breaker before beginning installation. If you are unsure about electrical wiring, consult a qualified electrician.
- Turn Off Power: Locate your circuit breaker and turn off the power to the light switch you are replacing. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
- Remove Old Switch: Carefully remove the faceplate and unscrew the old switch from the wall box. Disconnect the wires.
- Identify Wires: Identify the Line (Live), Load, Neutral, and Ground wires. This smart switch requires a neutral wire.
- Wire the New Switch: Connect the wires to the corresponding terminals on the Jinvoo smart switch. Refer to the wiring diagram below for guidance.
- L: Connect to the Line (Live) wire.
- L1/L2/L3: Connect to the Load wires (to your lights).
- N: Connect to the Neutral wire.
- GND: Connect to the Ground wire.
- Mount the Switch: Gently push the wired switch into the wall box and secure it with the provided screws. Attach the glass touch panel faceplate.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker. The indicator light on the switch should illuminate.

6. Setup and App Pairing
To enable smart features, you need to connect your Jinvoo switch to the Jinvoo Smart app and your home Wi-Fi network.
- Download the App: Search for "Jinvoo Smart" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and download the application.
- Register/Log In: Open the app and register a new account or log in with an existing one.
- Enter Pairing Mode: After installation, the switch's indicator light should be blinking rapidly. If not, press and hold one of the touch buttons for 5-10 seconds until it blinks rapidly. This indicates pairing mode.
- Add Device in App: In the Jinvoo Smart app, tap the "+" icon or "Add Device." Select "Electrical Switch" or the appropriate device type.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Follow the in-app instructions to connect the switch to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your phone is also connected to the same 2.4 GHz network during setup. (Note: 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks are not supported.)
- Rename Device: Once successfully paired, you can rename the switch for easier identification (e.g., "Living Room Light").

7. Operating Instructions
7.1. Manual Touch Control
Simply touch the corresponding circular icon on the glass panel to turn the connected light(s) ON or OFF. The backlight will indicate the switch status.
7.2. Remote Control via Jinvoo Smart App
Open the Jinvoo Smart app on your smartphone. Select the desired switch from your device list. You can then tap the ON/OFF button within the app to control your lights from anywhere with an internet connection.

7.3. Voice Control (Amazon Alexa / Google Home)
To use voice control, you must first link your Jinvoo Smart account to your Amazon Alexa or Google Home app. Follow the instructions provided by Amazon or Google for linking third-party smart home devices. Once linked, you can use commands such as:
- "Alexa, turn on Living Room Light."
- "Hey Google, turn off Bedroom Light."
7.4. Timing Function
The Jinvoo Smart app allows you to set schedules and timers for your lights. This feature can automate your lighting based on your daily routine.
- Open the Jinvoo Smart app and select your switch.
- Navigate to the "Timer" or "Schedule" section.
- Set desired ON/OFF times and days of the week.
- Save the schedule.

8. Maintenance

9. Troubleshooting
- Switch Not Responding:
- Check if the circuit breaker is ON.
- Verify all wiring connections are secure and correct, especially the neutral wire.
- Ensure the power supply to the switch is stable.
- Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi:
- Confirm your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz. This switch does not support 5 GHz networks.
- Ensure your phone is connected to the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network during pairing.
- Check your Wi-Fi password for accuracy.
- Move the switch closer to your Wi-Fi router to improve signal strength.
- Reset the switch to factory settings (usually by holding a button for an extended period, refer to specific product instructions if different) and try pairing again.
- Voice Control Not Working:
- Ensure your Jinvoo Smart account is correctly linked to your Amazon Alexa or Google Home app.
- Verify the device name in the Jinvoo Smart app matches the name used in voice commands.
- Check your internet connection.
